Kapa Haka
Cross Country - Tomorrow Tuesday 27 August - Start time 9.30am - Dress up in your house colours.
Ages for order of racing - Little Fighters, 13 & 12, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11.
We are looking forward to having a fun filled day. We would love your help, support and participation. Yes, we have the kindy kids coming to compete, an inflatable slide for participants and … wait for it… an adult’s fun race. So put your best foot or even both feet forward. You can dress up in the house colours and race (don’t worry the fun one is a team or a three legged race - for those of us a little more challenged by running).
We desperately need helpers to main the stations around the course. Please let the office know if you can help.
A massive congratulations to our Year 5/6 and 7/8 Kapa Haka groups that showed off their beautiful pieces at the Tatarakihi Festival today. You did our Kura and community proud!Feel free to check out their skills in the videos posted below on our page. A huge thank you and acknowledgement of Whaea Marcelle and Mātua Moni who do a fantastic job with all three of our Kapa Haka groups. Your time and wisdom is greatly appreciated! Thank you also to all of our parents who assisted the two groups today which allowed them to showcase their hard work and look outstanding in their uniforms doing so.
